Jan Vesely extends contract until 2026
The Czech centre has made 129 appearances for Barça and is the most valuable player this season for the blaugranes in Europe

FC Barcelona and Jan Vesely have reached an agreement for the extension of the player's contract until 30 June 2026. The player's previous contract ended in 2025 and so now the Czech centre commits himself for another season to the blaugranes.
"We have decided to extend the contract and the decision has been an easy and quick one. I am delighted and I a feel really comfortable with the decision as I have am really at home in Barcelona," said Vesely.
Up to now Jan Vesely has made 129 appearances for the Barça basketball team, 63 coming in the Euroleague, 55 in the ACB, 4 in the Copa del Rey, 4 in the Lliga Catalana and 3 in the Super Cup. The centre has won three trophies, one ACB league and two Lligues Catalanes and this season in 25 games in the Euroleague he is the team's best performing player with an average of 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and a valuation of 16.6 in an average of 21 minutes per game.
