Vitor Roque opens his account for FC Barcelona
Brazilian Vitor Roque has opened his account. The striker who joined the club in the winter transfer market from Atletico Paranaense gave Barça victory on Wednesday against Osasuna with a good header from a Cancelo cross. A classic knee sliding celebration spoke volumes about the significance of the strike in the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys for the young striker.
The teenager started the game on the bench but entered the fray in the 62nd minute to replace Fermín López. Just a couple of minutes later Victor Roque was celebrating his first goal in a Barça shirt in his sixth appearance for the club.
At the moment his record as a Barça player reads five wins and a defeat, the only setback the loss against Villarreal last weekend. Now, the striker has opened his account and there are surely many more to come.
