Barça were way too good for Virtus Segafredo Bologna as Laprovittola celebrated turning 34 years with a fabulous display that keeps the Catalans second in the regular season table.
In a busy week, the team now head to Belgrade for another EuroLeague game before hosting València Basket in the domestic championship on Sunday.
The visitors actually led for a large part of the first period, and although Barça eventually started building up a bigger and bigger lead, with Jokubaitis very much the metronome of what was happening, they kept plugging away in every possible way and it was thanks to some top blaugrana defending that Bologna slowly started to drift out of contention.
It was then that Laprovittola found the accelerator, with three almost consecutive threes taking the lead into double figures. But the real showstopper was his huige throw practically from the middle of the court. In it went, and Bologna knew from then on that their task was as good as impossible.
Barça were getting closer and closer to a 20 point lead, which they eventually broke in the final period, in the end winning by a majestic 84-57.
