Agreement to extend Marta Torrejón's contract until 2025

Barça and Marta Torrejón have reached an agreement to extend the second captain's contract for another season until 30 June 2025. The defender is second on the all time list of appearances for Barça Women and has 24 trophies to her name as a Barça player. 

Torrejón is currently in her 11th season as a blaugrana after arriving in the 2013/14 season. Since then she has made 411 appearances as a culer, 289 in the league, 75 in the Champions League (a Barça record), 29 in the Copa de la Reina, 7 in the Spanish Super Cup and 11 in thje Copa Catalana. 

Only Melanie Serrano with 517 appearances has played more game for Barça Women with Alexia Putellas just behind on 408. Despite being a defender Marta Torrejón has scored 64 goals for the blaugranes, 12 coming in the 2020/21 season. 

24 trophies 

The Barça second captain has won 24 trophies as a blaugrana: 2 Champions League, 6 leagues, 6 Copas de la Reina, 4 Spanish Super Cups and 6 Copas Catalunya. Only Alexia Putellas with 27 and Melanie Serrano with 28 have won more silverware with the FC Barcelona women's team.
