The squad for the game against Villarreal
After 38 days football return to the Estado Olímpic Lluís Companys with Xavi Hernández's team looking for a win at home to keep themselves in contention in the battle for the La Liga title. Their opponents on Saturday will be Villarreal in a game that kicks off at 6.30pm CET.
Out of the squad is defender Alejandro Balde after being forced off due injury after just 22 minutes of the defeat against Athletic Club in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday. Tests have confirmed that the defender has an injury to the tendon in his right hamstring. In the coming days he will undergo a surgical procedure in Finland.
Barça will also be without without Sergi Roberto who has an Achilles tendon problem in his left foot.
