It means the final game is a relatively meaningless one as far as the bigger picture is concerned, so Xavi may well use it as a chance to rest more regular players and experiment with others.

After suffering a major blow on Sunday night by losing 4-2 at home to Girona, the Barça players were back out on the training field this Monday morning, where they were greeted by sunshine and surprisingly warm temperatures for this time of year. The first team players went through the usual warm-down routine at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, where they were joined by Cubarsí, Cristo, Cuéllar and Arnau Pradas of Barça Atlètic.

Today's was the last session at the training ground before the players fly to Flanders on Tuesday.
