Transport advice for the Atlético game at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys

FC Barcelona maintain their transport plan with the city council to aid members and fans travelling to the stadium, reinforcing and extending public transport timetables

On Sunday 3 December at 9pm CET two events coincide for which large crowds are expected. On the one hand, Barça face Atlético Madrid at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys and on the other there is a Greta Van Fleet concert at the Sant Jordi Club. The Club, once more, has a series of recommendations regarding transport as the two events coinciding will have repercussions in the area of Montjuïc.

In order to cope with the fans travelling to the stadium at Montjuïc and to cover all their needs, FC Barcelona, together with Barcelona City Council and the local police force, are continuing with the transport plan in place which aims to ease access to and exit from both the area of Montjuïc and the stadium itself. The measures in the plan, applied to all matches to facilitate entrance and exit to the area of Montjuïc and the stadium for fans, can be applied also to those attending the Greta Van Fleet concert, given the unusual combination of events.

In line with match day procedure, at 5pm CET access in private vehicles will be restricted to the majority of the Park Area of Montjuïc. Close to the Estadi Olímpic, vehicles will not be allowed to circulate and accreditation will be necessary to access the Olympic Ring area. As always, fans making their way to the stadium are encouraged to do so on foot or by public transport.

Reinforcement of public transport

Naturally, everyone is advised to arrive as early as possible. Due to the increased pressure, the 150 bus service and the Montjuïc funicular train will be running more frequently than ever for the two hours both before and after the game, as will the Metro and FGC trains. There will also be far more staff than there usually are at this time.

The best train/metro stations for reaching the ground are:
Espanya (L1, L3, L8 and other FGC lines)
Poble Sec (L3)
Paral·lel (L2, L3)
Magòria - La Campana (L8 and other FGC lines).

There are also bus services stopping at:
Placa d'Espanya (D20, D40, H12, H16, V7, 13, 23, 46, 52, 65, 79, 91, 109 & 165)
Passeig de la Zona Franca (H16, V3, V5, 23, 109 & 125).

You can also take a taxi that will drop you off close to the stadium.

A maximum of 3,500 motorbikes can park outside the stadium, with Avenida Miramar being the best road to take.

For those with no other alternative method of transport, there will be car parking at Feria de Gran Vía de Hospitalet at a special rate and only payable in advance. From two hours before kick-off until midnight, there will be a free shuttle bus from the car park to the stadium.

Accessibility indications for people with reduced mobility

The Club provides a series of instructions on accessibility for people with disabilities, reduced mobility or wheelchair users, as well as their companions.
