Barça 44-25 Sinfín: Back to the Palau with a win

A comprehensive win for Barça on their return to the Palau Blaugrana after a three week absence with Carlos Ortega's team seeing off Blendio Sinfín 44-25 in the league. Jaime Gallego with six goals and Langaro with four were the top scorers for the blaugranes in a game that saw four players from Barça Atlètic make an appearance for the first team. 

Pace from the start 

After a succession of away game, including the Super Globe competition, the blaugranes were back in front of their own fans and they quickly responded by taking a 5-1 lead. 

In the second half the visitors attempted to remain competitive in the game but Barça never looked like relinquishing their lead.  Youngsters Petar Cikusa, Djordje Cikusa, Ian Barrufet and Oriol Zarzuela all made appearances as coach Ortega rotated his line up with Langaro and Gallego providing the goals. 

Nielsen off the bench 

Emil Nielsen came off the bench in goal and Sinfín sacrificing their keeper, the Dane scored no less than four times to seal the win. Barça's next test comes in the Champions League on Thursday at the Palau against Wisla Plock.
