Aitana presents the Ballon d'Or at Estadi Johan Cruyff

A very special day for Aitana Bonmatí. The Catalan midfielder sharing her first moments with match-going fans at Estadi Johan Cruyff after winning the Ballon d'Or. The award certifies her as the world's best player and she was able to celebrate her achievement with the fans prior to this Sunday's Barça v Sevilla game.

Before kick-off, Aitana came out to show the trophy, receiving a loud and deserved ovation to add to her starring role at the France Football gala in Paris last Monday.

It's been a busy yet very special week for Aitana Bonmatí, who followed up her Ballon d'Or win with a game for Spain away in Switzerland before returning to Barcelona on Wednesday morning and heading straight to her home town of Sant Pere de Ribes. There she was welcomed by local residents and could see the mural created for her by FC Barcelona in person.

She was back in for training on Thursday morning, before making an appearance at the Passeig de Gràcia Barça Store to delight of the fans, having photos taken and signing autographs.
