Today was the day when fans had the opportunity to meet the newly crowned best women's player in the world in person, as she visited the Paseo de Gracia Barça Store on the city's premier shopping thoroughfare for a meet and greet this afternoon. A multitude of fans created a superb atmosphere as they waited for their idol both outside and inside the store.
Aitana Bonmatí took time to speak with the fans, had photos taken with them, and signed countless autographs, always showing her characteristic warm and appreciative approach with everyone.
The meet and greet took place just three days after she had received the Ballon d'Or, and three days before it will be officially shown to the fans this Sunday, 5 November at "home" in Estadi Johan Cruyff, as the FC Barcelona Women side host Sevilla for the Liga F matchday seven fixture (kick-off 4pm CST).
