Ilkay Gündoğan: The midfielder captained Germany in those two games and scored the first of his team's goals against the USMNT.
Ferran Torres: He started both games, which Spain won against Scotland and Norway, 2-0 and 1-0, to secure qualification for Euro 24. In the latter he was replaced in the second half by Alfonso Pedraza.
Gavi: The youngster scored the only goal of the game in Norway, in doing so setting a new record for becoming the youngest ever goalscorer for Spain (19 years and 71 days). He started both games but was taken off for the final minutes in Oslo.
João Félix: Portugal beat Slovakia 3-2 and Bosnia-Herzegovina 5-0 to qualify for the finals. In the former game, he came on after 65 minutes for Rafael Leão and in the latter he started and scored the fifth goals having also assisted Cristiano Ronaldo earlier in the game. He was the replaced late on by Vitinha.
João Cancelo: Started the aforesaid games, first as right back and then as left back. He also scored against Bosnia, making it 4-0 after 32 minutes.
Andreas Christensen: Started Denmark's 3-1 defeat of Kazakhstan, getting yellow carded in that one. He then sat out his team's surprisingly hard-fought 2-1 defeat of San Marino.
