Things have started nicely for the futsal team in their first game back after the international break. This Saturday at the Palau Blaugrana, Jesús Velasco's side were comfortable victors over Alzira in game 5 of the league programme, with Álex Yepes scoring his first goal in the blaugrana jersey, Adolfo finding the bet twice, and André Coelho, Sergio González and Dyego all getting one each ahead of the big trip to ElPozo Múrcia on Tuesday.
The comfortable win contrasted with the early scenes when Rubi had put the visitors ahead after just six minutes. But Barça's equaliser only took a minute in the coming and from then on the mistakes were few and far between. In a dominant performance, there was only ever likely to be one winner...
The game also brought the debut of a youngster who has risen all the way up the youth levels at the club. Well done, Adrián Tapias.
