400 games for Alexia Putellas

Alexia Putellas becomes, after her appearance against Madrid CFF for the women's first team, just the second player to reach 400 games in a Barça shirt. 

The Catalan midfielder adds her name to that of Melanie Serrano who made 517 appearances for Barça Women between 2004 and 2022. 

The double Ballon d'Or and The Best winner (2021, 2022) and the best player in Europe in both those years continues to make history with the club that is the closest to her heart. 

After another record 

As well as reaching 400 matches in a Barça shirt, the blaugrana captain is just two goals away from a goalscoring record also. Putellas is currently on 179 goals, just behind the record of 181 set by Jenni Hermoso. 

Alexia has scored 20 goals in the Copa de la Reina, a club record in that competition, and is joint all time top scorer in the Champions League with 19 goals, the same total as Jenni Hermoso. 

Appearances by competition 

Those 400 games comprise of 283 league appearances, 63 in the Champions League, 35 in the Copa de la Reina, 5 in the Super Cup and 14 in the Copa Catalunya. 

Over those four centuries Alexia has won 26 trophies; 7 league titles, 2 Champions Leagues, 7 Copas del a Reina, 7 Copas Catalunya and 3 Super Cups.
