The name of Lamine Yamal continues to be on everyone's lips after a record breaking start to the campaign with Barça has been the winger become the youngest player ever to represent the Spanish national side. The winger came on after 43 minutes of the European Championship qualifier in Georgia at the age of just 16 years and 57 days. Furthermore, the teenage then became the youngest player ever to score for Spain as he scored the final goal in a 7-1 rout for Luis de la Fuente's team.
The Barça player came on after 43 minutes to replace the injured Marco Asensio with Spain already 4-0 up at that point. Lamal became the youngest player ever to appear in a Spain shirt, beating his blaugrana team mate Gavi's record of 17 years and 62 days.
In the 74th minute of the game, Nico Williams galloped down the left hand side and played in an excellent cross for Lamine Yamal to score at the far post and make it 7-1 to the visitors. A smile from the teenager signified that the La Masia product had just become the youngest player every to score for the Spanish senior national side.
