Agreement to sign Esmee Brugts
20-year-old Netherlands midfielder to sign a four year contract
An agreement has been reached between Barça and Esmee Brugts for the Dutch midfielder to sign for the next four seasons up to 30 June 2027.
20-year-old attacking midfielder Brugts is a full international and recently played for the Netherlands at the World Cup, featuring five times and scoring two goals.
She spent the 2022/23 season at PSV Eindhoven, playing 15 league games and scoring 8 goals. She also played in the Champions League and played 27 competitive games during the season before.
Her debut season with PSV saw her play 23 competitive games when aged just 17 years old, including facing Barça in the Champions League, with the blaugranes winning 4-1 in both matches.
