A 20th league title!

League champions for the 20th time! Sarunas Jasikevicius' team took the league championship on Tuesday in Madrid with a 93-82 win in the WiZink Center in the league play off final. The title is the 17th for the Club in the ACB era, added to the three won in the National League days. 

The end of the campaign has been a spectacular one for the blaugranes with a 2-0 win over Valencia Basket in the quarter final, a 3-1 win over Unicaja in the semi-final and now a 3-0 win over Real Madrid in the play off final. 

It is the second time in three seasons that coach Jasikevicius' has led the team to league success with the Lithuanian also having won the Copa del Rey twice and led the team to the Final Four in the Euroleague in each of his three campaigns in charge. 

Nikola Mirotic was chosen as MVP of the final with an average of 17.6 points, 6 rebounds and a rating of 23.3 over the three games. It is a third success in the league championship for Mirotic, his second as a blaugrana adding to the one title he won with Real Madrid. Alex Abrines claims his third league crown and it is a second for Higgins, Sergi Martínez and Kuric. 

The likes of  Da Silva, Sanli, Paulí, Vesely, Kalinic, Satoransky, Laprovittola, Jokubaitis, Nnaji and Tobey all taste success in the league for the very first time.
