Some very special guests dropped by after this morning's training session. Currently in Barcelona as part of their tour, Coldplay visited the Ciutat Esportiva to meet the first team players and spend some time with them after training on the Tito Vilanova pitch.
Their "Viva la Vida" song is cherished by FC Barcelona fans, and the band members enjoyed a chat with the players after the session ended. It was particularly special for some players as they had seen them in concert at the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc, where they played two gigs as part of the "Music of the Spheres" tour on May 24 and 25.
Chris Martin and his bandmates will be in the city for a few more days as they still have another two concerts to play on May 27 and 28. Coldplay have enjoyed unparalleled success in Barcelona, as a total of 200,000 people will have seen the group over the four gigs in the Catalan capital, the first artist ever to sell out four nights at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
