Barça will be ending their four-game 2023 US Tour with a game against AC Milan on August 2 with kick off at 8pm local time, having previously played Juventus in San Francisco, Arsenal in Los Angeles and Real Madrid in Dallas.
The venue
The friendly will be played at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, which opened in 2020 and holds 65,000 spectators.
It is the home of the Las Vegas Raiders in the NFL and was also the venue for the Concacaf Gold Cup Final in Copa de Oro de 2021 between the USMNT and Mexico.
This is Barça's second visit to Vegas, a year after they were there for a Clásico against Real Madrid, which they won 1-0 thanks to that stunning goal from Raphinha.
Previous friendlies against Milan
Barça have played no fewer than ten previous friendlies against the rossoneri over the years, dating all the way back to two games at the old Les Corts stadium in 1933, Barça winning the first 3-1 and losing the second 1-0. Milan have also been the guests at three separate editions of the Gamper Trophy, in 1986 (3-1), 2004 (2-1) and 2010 (1- 1).
Barça have visited San Siro twice for non-official games, losing them both, 2-1 in 1987 and 1-0 in 1987. They have also met at the Carlos Tartiere, Oviedo in 1993, which Milan won 3-0.
The other two games were in the United States. There was a 2-1 victory for the Catalans in Washington in 2003 and a 1-0 win for the Italians in 2018 in Santa Clara (California).
