Barça Atlètic 3–0 CD Alcoyano: A much needed win

A big win for Barça Atlètic, who didn't want to make it five wins in a row without three points to show for it and got what they wanted with a 3-0 defeat of Alcoyano at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, meaning they are back on the border of the play-off zone.

Rafa Márquez's side were far and away the best team in the first 45 minutes, and quickly got off the mark through Estanis Pedrola, who came very close to making it two not long later. The first half had been blaigrana all the way and they deserved to have more than one goal to show for it.

But no sooner was the second half under way than they were finally two goals to the good, Roberto pouncing on the rebound from a Luismi Cruz shot.

They were in full flow, and moments after hitting the post, the exceptional Estanis Pedrola was soon knocking in a cross from Álvaro Sanz to claim a brace and as good as seal the win.
