Training session at the Theatre of Dreams

The Barça squad train in a legendary stadium steeped in history and typically under the Manchester drizzle

The Barça squad have trained at Old Trafford, also known as the Theatre of Dreams - the moniker given to the stadium by Manchester United legend, Sir Bobby Charlton.

Every available player was out on the pitch to fine-tune the final details for the return leg of the Europa League play-offs.

So, the Barça players are now familiar with the stage for the upcoming game. A stadium with a lot of tradition in European football, dripping with history and appeal. Even the entry onto the pitch is different, as Xavi and the squad come out from one corner of the stadium from where the tunnel leads back to the dressing rooms.

The history is plain to see with the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, named in honour of the long-serving multiple title-winning coach of the Red Devils. Out on the forecourt there is The United Trilogy statue, featuring three other Manchester United legends and former players in George Best, Denis Law and Sir Bobby Charlton. Newspaper articles celebrating the club's achievements are also on show inside Old Trafford.

So, with smilies on their faces and making the best of the typical Manchester drizzle in the Theatre of Dreams, the Barça players have prepared for this very important clash. The stage is set for FC Barcelona to write another successful chapter of their footballing history in this Europa League.
