Training at the Prince Faisal stadium

The countdown to the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Betis is well under way for FC Barcelona. Xavi Hernández's team will take to the field at 8pm CET on Thursday (10pm in Saudi Arabia) with a place in Sunday's grand final at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh at stake.

After the press conferences with Xavi and Sergi Roberto, the squad had their final training session prior to their debut Super Cup match against Betis. The Prince Faisal stadium, also in Riyadh and home of Al Hilal, provided the setting for putting the finishing touches to preparations for tomorrow's game.

All 24 players called up to the travelling party were involved, namely Ter Stegen, Bellerín, R. Araujo, Sergio, O. Dembélé, Pedri, Lewandowski, Ansu Fati, Ferran, Iñaki Peña, Memphis, Christensen, Marcos A., Jordi Alba, Kessie, S. Roberto, F. De Jong, Raphinha, Kounde, Eric, Balde, Gavi, Pablo Torre and Arnau Tenas. Let's not forget that two of the players will have to be left out of the match day squad.
