Nico González has undergone successful surgery on the fifth metatarsal of his left foot. The operation was performed by Dr Antoni Dalmau under supervision of the FC Barcelona Medical Services at Hospital de Barcelona, and in close coordination with their peers at Valencia CF. The player will be out of action until he makes a full recovery.
On loan until June 30
The player is on loan to Valencia until 30 June 2023. He came to Barça at the age of 11 from Montañeros, and made his Barça Atlètic debut at the age of 17 and his first team debut in 2021/22 in a game against Real Sociedad at the Spotify Camp Nou. Following some fine performances he was made a permanent members of the first team roster in the winter of 2022, not long after Xavi Hernández had taken over as manager.
