Stadium work limits Spotify Camp Nou capacity to 74,799 for game with Bayern Munich

The partial demolition work in the third tier as part of the project to restructure Spotify Camp Nou means a series of limitations on the seats available for the Barça's UWCL match against Bayern Munich today, November 24, at 6.45pm. On this occasion the maximum capacity will be 74,799.

The work will also entail different effects on gates into the ground. Access to the outside perimeter be the same as ever, but some gates into the stadium itself will be closed, especially in the South Goal area (from Travessera de Les Corts), specifically gates 30 to 53.

The work on the southern end of the stadium, the epicentre of Espai Barça, will continue through November and will end on December 30.

On September 1, preliminary work on preparing the area began with the dismantling of equipment and installations and the temporary relocation of the systems and technology infrastructure (central data processing unit), in liaison with the operators who are providing the new connectivity network at the stadium in order to minimize the risk and impact of services to members, fans, corporate services and technology applied to sport. The South Goal video scoreboard and the seats in the affected area were then removed in order to adapt the section in preparation for the demolition activity.

The club is issuing a series of recommendations for fans coming to the game to ensure smooth entry to the ground, and guarantee that everyone gets to their allocated seat in the Spotify Camp Nou quickly and comfortably.

Pre-game activities

To ensure a family-friendly environment, the club has set up a series of pre-game for all ages activities on the stadium forecourt. The ground will be opening a full hour and a half before kick-off so everyone can get to enjoy the build-up.
