The Museum exhibits Romário's boots for the very first time

After a survey carried out via the Socios.com app, fans have chosen this article to be included in the collection

The FC Barcelona Museum will exhibit for the very first time the boots of former Barça striker Romário until 5 December. The boots will be housed on the first floor in a specially created area along with one of the Brazilian's jerseys and the ball that was used when the league was won in 1994.

The inclusion of the Brazilian's boots amongst the items on display at the Barça Museum forms part of an initiative led by the Club with its partner Socios.com. The choice of this article came via a survey carried out on the application for fans holding Barça 'tokens' (named $BAR).

Romário's boots were gifted by the player to Àngel Mur, a massage therapist at FC Barcelona for more than 40 years, who has loaned the item to the Museum temporarily.

One of the fans with Barça 'tokens' who took part in the survey was given the honour of placing the boots on display. The other options for the fans to choose on the Socios.com application were a José 'Pepe' Rodríguez shirt from 1910, a Barça captain, and a shirt from Basel.
