Barça Atlètic made it two wins out of two at the Estadi Johan Cruyff after overcoming a tightly balanced start by finally imposing their superiority to clain a two-goal victory.
With seven points from a possible nine, they are among the frontrunners in Primera Divisió RFEF, level on points with Reial Murcia, Alcoyano and Osasuna B.
Tight start
Both sides were keen to give this game a go, and some top work from Barça goalie Arnau Tenas ensured the visitors took nothing early on. Barça grew and grew as the game progressed, and the best chances of the first half fell to Juanda, Ilias Akhomach and Roberto but as far as goals were concerned, neither side was any the better when the half time whistle blew.
Here come the goals
Following the restart, there was new verve in the blaugrana football, and eventually Juanda found the net after a tremendous run and even better finish after 62 minutes.
It was only after scoring that we really felt we were seeing the Barça reserves at their best. and a second goal always looked on the cards and eventually came from the boot oF Roberto Fernández, his first ever competitive goal for the side.
