FC Barcelona and Abde Ezzalzouli have reached an agreement to extend the player’s contract until June 2026. The buyout clause has been set at 200 million euros.
Additionally, FC Barcelona and Osasuna have reached an agreement for the loan of Abde Ezzalzouli to the latter until 30 June 2023. There is no purchase option.
FC Barcelona signed the 19-year-old Moroccan from Hércules in the summer of 2021 after he'd impressed in Division 2B. He quickly settled in the Barça Atlètic squad under Sergi Barjuán, and when the latter became interim coach of the senior team, he brought Abde with him and handed him his first team debut at the Camp Nou against Alavés.
He played 12 games at senior level, and scored his first goal in a 2-2 draw at Osasuna.
Abde then returned to the reserves and was one of the standout players in Primera RFEF, where he ended the campaign with 3 goals and 7 assists. His 4.9 dribbles per game amounted to one of the best records in Europe in that category.
