FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida — With the help of Spotify, the new main partner of FC Barcelona, music and football joined forces on Sunday evening during a Meet & Greet after the team’s second workout of the day. Several music artists and a half dozen Barça players took part.
Ovy on the Drums, Mau & Ricky, and Piso 21 were the musicians who took part in the event, while Barça was represented by the players Marc ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo, Ousmane Dembélé, Memphis Depay, Ferran Torres, and Sergi Roberto. Former Barça player Thierry Henry also took part, as did Sergio 'Kun' Agüero, who visited their former teammates during the evening session.
The Barça players gave the musicians various personalized jerseys and they even took some time to kick the ball around, including an intense but fun rondo that was accompanied by plenty of smiles and laughter.
