The FC Barcelona board of directors met this Wednesday in Olot and decided to postpone the payment of this season’s Spotify Camp Nou season tickets, originally scheduled for this Thursday 14 July and as announced by the club to its season ticket holding members. The measure is being taken in response to the current financial climate, with a major increase in the CPI, which has had repercussions on the cost of season tickets for the 2022/23 season.
The board senses the need to try to mitigate this impact of members’ economies and has therefore started to work on methods to make payments in instalments and thus make it easier for people to finance these expenses. There will also be an option to pay the membership fee, originally to be charged in early 2023, in instalments. Especially for families with more than one season ticket, payment as a lump sum could be very difficult right now.
Therefore, season tickets will not be charged on July 14 as originally announced. Instead there will be a delay after which a totally secure and flexible instalment system will be deployed.
Season ticket holding members will be duly informed of the new payment dates and the possibility of paying the fee in instalments.
