Joan Laporta visits the squad before training
FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta visited the squad prior to the second training session on Tuesday. He met with players and staff a few minutes before 7pm CEST, providing encouragement before preseason begins in earnest with the first friendly against UE Olot on Wednesday evening.
President Joan Laporta was joined by the Director Responsible for the Sports Area, Rafa Yuste, Director of Football, Mateu Alemany, and International Department Director, Jordi Cruyff.
The squad were then put through their paces in the second training session of the day. All players were involved during the first section, while the players that returned on Monday stepped up their physical work during the second section.
Let's not forget that the players who returned on Monday will train again at the Ciutat Esportiva at 9am CEST on Wednesday, while the others will travel by coach to Olot in the early afternoon before the first friendly match of preseason.
