FC Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur FC have reached an agreement on the loan of Clément Lenglet until 30 June 2023. The English club has no option to purchase the French defender.
Four years in blaugrana
Lenglet arrived in Catalonia for the 2018/19 season and has been an important member of the defence since then, playing 160 games in official competitions, 132 of those in starting line-up.
He has contributed to 48 clean sheets in that time, and although his main role is to guard the centre of defence, he has still managed to score seven goals in his time at Barça.
In his first season at Camp Nou, he won the league and cup double under Ernesto Valverde, and added a second Copa del Rey title to his collection two years later.
