FC Barcelona end the 2021/22 season with 16 trophies

Sweet sixteen is the number of trophies won this season by the various professional first teams at FC Barcelona. The most recent trophy came on Saturday when the futsal team claimed the league title in Palma thanks to a 4-2 win in the second game of the play-off final.
Another season comes to an end with Barça upholding its claim of being 'More than a Club' with the highlights being Champions League wins for both the futsal and handball teams, taking the Club's total to 45 European trophies during its history.
Cologne and Riga see Barça success
The handball team claimed European success in Germany with a victory in the Final Four to add to the league title, the Copa del Rey, the Asobal Cup and the Spanish and Catalan Super Cups claimed in 2021/22, coach Carlos Ortega's first in charge.
Futsal coach Jesús Velasco. also in his first campaign in the job, also led his side to great success winning four of a possible five trophies. The league title in Palma rounded off a season which also saw his team claim victories in the Spanish Cup, the Champions League and the Spanish Super Cup.
Domestic treble for Barça Women
The Barça Women's first team continued their excellent form of recent years with a season in which they lost just two games in all competitions. Jonatan Giráldez's team were league champions, winners of the Copa de la Reina and the Spanish Super Cup as well as being runners up to Lyon in the Champions League.
The Roller Hockey team made their contribution with wins in the Copa del Rey and the Catalan League whilst the basketball first team claimed the Copa del Rey with a memorable win over Real Madrid in the final played in Granada.
The records stands at 19 trophies
With 16 trophies this season, the Club comes just three short of the all time record. In 2015, 2018 and 2019 the Club's professional sections managed a total of 19 trophies between them in each of those record breaking seasons.
