Anaitasuna 34-35 Barça: Tight win and league champions!

A win away at Anaitasuna means that Barça are now mathematically Sacyr Asobal league champions. Carlos Ortega's team take their fourth trophy of the season after lifting the Catalan Super Cup, Spanish Super and the Copa del Rey. The 35-34 victory to hand them the title came in a very tight contest in which the home side fought back in the second half to almost spoil the party.
Great first half
Barça came out intense and committed to taking the win to seal the league championship. Anaitasuna enjoyed an early 6-4 lead but the blaugranes turned the game around and five goals in 19 minutes from Aleix Gómez helped the blaugranes into an 18-12 lead at half time.
Comeback but the win is secured
In the second half Anaitasuna mounted a spirited comeback and on 40 minutes they were just three goals down at 25-22. The home side continued to claw back the deficit but Carlos Ortega's team held on take a valuable 35-34 win win to seal yet another league title.
