Bada Huesca 25-40 Barça: Resounding win before the international break

A great win ensures Carlos Ortega's men remain clear leaders of Liga ASOBAL going into the international break

Another Barça Handball victory (25-40), this time a resounding win at Bada Huesca. Gradually taking control as the game progressed, a superb second half saw them lead by +15 at the end of the game. Their 22nd win in the Liga Sacyr ASOBAL.

Industrious first-half

Both keepers were being worked at the start of the game, but Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas and Barça's goalscoring efficiency gave Carlos Ortega's men a 5 goal lead early on (4-9).

Bada Huesca's main tactic was the counter attack, which helped them claw back the difference to one goal (10-11). However, Barça came back to go in +4 up at the break (14-18) in the Palacio Municipal de Huesca.

Second half seals the win

Barça came out with a clear desire to step up the pace, and allied with a great defence and counterattack, they extended their lead to nine goals (20-29).

This lead allowed Barça to control the game, with long periods of possession, and perfectly positioned in attack to stop their rival's repeated attempts to get back in the game. So, a 22nd win in the Liga Asobal by a resounding 25-40.
