#MoreThanEmpowerment

There will also be a photo booth where anyone is able to get their picture taken with the #MoreThanEpowerment logo that the women's team have been using this season. What's more, it's totally free and you can even have the picture sent to your email. There is also the chance to have your picture taken with the poster of the series that everyone is talking about: Matchday. Queens of the Pitch, in which Barça Studios follow the team throughout their treble winning season. You can make it look like you were there for the official launch at the Palau de la Música a few weeks ago.

With giant balloons in the sky with the words #ForçaBarça and More Than Empowerment upon them, there will be plenty of musical accompaniment as well, including a percussion band and stilt-walkers dressed in blaugrana. And, of course, all the usual refreshments will be available in Rambla del Barça, including the sports-themed Barça Cafe with its delicious sandwiches and tapas.

Manifesto read by actress Sílvia Abril

The first ever game for the Barça Women at Camp Nou with fans in the stadium is to have a mosaic that befits the occasion, just like on the great nights featuring the men’s team. The blend of blaugrana colours with the yellow and red of the Catalan flag will symbolise a call for gender equality in sport. The biggest stadium in Europe is set to fill for the game, and it sends out a clear message to aspiring young girls all around the world. You can do it too!

The words “More than Empowerment” will be emblazoned across the Lateral terrace, and the female symbol will appear behind the two goals, which follows on from the club’s imaginative idea on International Women’s Day to create the Venus symbol by adding a new line just beneath the centre circle. The blaugrana trim then continues all the way to the main grandstand, where it meets the four stripes of the Catalan senyera flag.

With Estadi Johan Cruyff stadium announcer Bernat Gascón performing his usual duties, he will be joined by actress Sílvia Abril, who will be helping to welcome the fans, read out the line-ups, help get the mosaic working and also read a manifesto in support of gender equality.

Not forgetting the fam cam giving people their few seconds of glory on the giant screen as they show off their hula hoops kills, head a ball in the air or play the bongos.

Charity events

March 30 will also be a charity event, whereby the club is calling on fans coming to the game to bring baby food to the various collection points around the ground to support children that have been displaced by the war in Ukraine.

In association with the Red Cross, there will be marquees open from 2pm to 7pm at Accesses 15, 9 and 1, where such products as powdered baby milk, powdered baby cereals, baby food, children’s snacks and biscuits and fruit juices will be gathered.
