Barça are in great form at the moment and their recent results bear that out. The blaugranes have taken 26 from a possible 30 points in their last 10 fixtures in La Liga, more than any other side in 2022, and they have made it to the quarter finals of the UEFA Europa League. In all competitions their run now stretches to 12 games unbeaten.
Since the arrival of Xavi Hernández as coach, Barça have played 25 games in official competition and their record is 14 wins, 7 draws and 4 defeats - an impressive record which is even better if we look at the last 12 games.
12 games to give hope
Starting with the 1-0 win away at Alavés in the league, Barça have registered nine wins and three draws. The blaugranes have improved dramatically in front of goal, scoring 32 goals in that time and conceding just 10.
Solid defensively, the January signings have added to the side's attacking capabilities with Ferran Torres scoring six goals and Aubameyang nine.
Barça have scored four times in games away at Valencia, in the 4-2 win in the Diego Armando Maradona stadium against Napoli, in the 4-0 wins at home against Athletic Club and Osasuna, and most recently in the brilliant 4-0 win away at Real Madrid in the Santiago Bernabéu. Their record means that a late challenge for the league title is no longer a pipe dream and that they are confident going into their Europa League quarter final tie against Eintracht Frankfurt.
