FC Barcelona to return to training on December 28

Following the 1-1 draw with Sevilla, Xavi Hernández has given his players a Christmas break until Tuesday 28 December, when the players will be due back at the Ciutat Esportiva for a 6.00pm CET training session. 

First four games of 2022 away from Camp Nou

Barça will be away from home in their first four games of the new year, two in the league, one in the cup and then in the Spanish Super Cup, which is being played in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (and that will be five games if Barça beat Real Madrid to play either Atlético Madrid or Athletic club in the final):

LIGA: Mallorca (A) Sunday 2 January at 9.00pm (all times CET)

COPA DEL REY: Linares (A) Wednesday 5 January at 7.30pm

LIGA: Granada (A) Saturday 8 January at 6.30pm

SPANISH SUPER CUP: Real Madrid (Saudi Arabia) Wednesday 12 January

SPANISH SUPER CUP: Final (if Barça qualify) Sunday 16 January

After returning from the Middle East, Barça’s first game of the year at Camp Nou will be against Rayo Vallecano before a difficult month ends with another trip, this time to Mendizorrotza, home of Alavés
