Gavi and Jutglà both got to score their first ever goals for FC Barcelona in Saturday’s 3-2 win against Elche at Camp Nou.
Jutglà, who Xavi handed his first ever competitive start, headed in from a corner after 16 minutes and just three minutes later Gavi made mincemeat of the Elche defence with a fabulous run before sending the ball in off the post.
Gavi is just 17 years and 135 days old, which makes him the third youngest goalscorer in Barça history. Only Ansu Fati (16 years, 304 days) and Bojan Krkic (17 years and 53 days) got their first goals earlier.
Gavi is also the fourth Barça player born from 2000 onwards to score in this Liga season, the others being Ansu Fati (3), Nico (2) and Ez Abde (1).
This came just a week after the game at Osasuna when Nico and Abde also scored their first ever goals for the team. What a week for Barça youth!
