FC Barcelona squad for the visit of Elche

On Saturday Xavi Hernández's squad welcome the visit of Elche to Camp Nou in La Liga for their final home fixture of 2021. The Barça coach has named a 23 man squad for the game with Jordi Alba back after injury. The full list is as follows:  Ter Stegen, R. Araujo, Sergio, Riqui Puig, O. Dembélé, Demir, Neto, Coutinho, Lenglet, L. De Jong, Jordi Alba, F. De Jong, O. Mingueza, Umtiti, Eric, Iñaki Peña, Nico, Jutglà, Gavi, Balde, Ez Abde, Álvaro Sanz and Guillem.

Missing due to injury are Dest, Ansu Fati, Braithwaite, Memphis, Pedri and S. Roberto and Gerard Piqué is out due to suspension. US international Sergiño Dest is out with a groin injury and his recovery will dictate his return. 

Warm up session at Camp Nou 

On Saturday morning local time Xavi Hernández and his squad carried out a warm up session to prepare for the visit of Elche before heading off to the Hotel Hilton ahead of the 6.30pm CET kick off.
