Agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of Emerson Royal
FC Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Emerson Royal for 25 million euros.
FC Barcelona would like to publicly thank Emerson Royal for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future.
The full back arrived at the Club this summer after two seasons on loan at Real Betis. In January 2019 FC Barcelona reached a three way agreement with Atlético Mineiro and Betis to bring the Brazilian to La Liga.
This season in a Barça shirt E.Royal has made three appearances in the league and the defender started in the recent win over Getafe at Camp Nou.
Born on 14 January 1999 in São Paolo, Brazil, Emerson Aparecido Leite de Souza Junior, better known as Emerson Royal, is an full Brazil international who recently represented his country in the 2021 Copa América.
