Agreement for Konrad de la Fuente to join Olympique de Marseille

FC Barcelona and Olympique de Marseille have reached an agreement for the transfer of Konrad de la Fuente for 3 million euros. Barça will retain a percentage of any future sale of the the player.
FC Barcelona would like to publicly express its gratitude to Konrad de la Fuente for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future.
Blaugrana since 2013
Konrad de la Fuente arrived in Barcelona at the age of 10 when his father was transferred to the Haitian consulate in Barcelona. He began at Tecnofutbol and Damm before joining Barça's U14B team in the 2013-14 season where, with Marcel Sans as coach, he was a league championship winner. He has gone through all the 11 youth teams at the club and his highlights are the achievement of league titles with U16B (2015-16), U16A (2016-17), U19B ( 2017-18) and Franc Artiga's U19A (2019-20)
Konrad made his debut for Garcia Pimienta’s Barça B on December 1, 2018 against Valencia Mestalla at the Miniestadi (2-2). In the UEFA Youth League he played nine games in the 2018-19 season in which he scored a goal with Denis Silva's U19A team who lost the semi-final on penalties against Chelsea
In 2020/21 the North American played a total of 21 matches for the B side, scoring six goals and providing four assists. Konrad scored his first goal for the B team in a 2-1 win over Prat in the league and furthermore, he made his debut for the first team, appearing in the Champions League against Dynamo Kyiv and Ferencvaros and in the Copa del Rey against Cornellà.
Konrad has been an international with the United States in all youth teams since the age of 14. With the U20 team he played in the 2019 World Cup in Poland, where the United States lost in the quarter-finals against Ecuador and he has also made his debut for the full national side.
