The match started frantically, and by just after the first half hour, both teams had scored. Ibiza took the lead in the 18th minute thanks to Rey Manaj's own goal from corner kick, however, Barça's reaction was almost immediate.
Konrad's recovery of the ball in attack allowed Peque to score with a fabulous finish, and with the bit between their teeth after the equaliser, Barça B continued to dominate, but without creating any more clear chances to score.
Cruel outcome
The hosts gradually began to grow into the game again, but were up against a solid Barça defence. With eight minutes to play, Castel managed to latch on to another corner and his goal proved to be decisive. Alex Collado's late volley went over meaning Barça B, despite a heroic effort, lost their first match in nine games.
