Apart from the three points won at the Reale Arena, Barça managed to equal a historical record. The 1-6 win against Real Sociedad saw Ronald Koeman's side earn their ninth consecutive victory away from home.
That matches Pep Guardiola's record as Barça coach from 2009, but there are still more challenges ahead. The second best record in club history is 10 consecutive away wins, also coming under Guardiola, between August 2012 and January 2013.
The current squad will be able to match this milestone in the Clásico against Real Madrid on April 10, and if they do so, they'll look to reach the club record of 12 away wins in a row, meaning that they would also have to triumph against Villarreal and Valencia.
