FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with the player Patri Guijarro for the extension of her contract until 30 June 2024. Soon, when the sporting calendar allows, the official signature ceremony will take place for the new contract between the player and the Club.
22 year old Patri is in her sixth season as a Barça player and is one of the first team captains. The Mallorca born midfielder is a key figure in the women's squad.
Ballon d'Or and Golden boot in the last U20 World Cup, the midfielder has played 159 matches as a blaugrana, scoring 34 goals. Despite her youth, Patri's links to the Club go way back; she was the first to study for her school leaving exams at La Masia in 2015 and at Barça she has already won a league title, two Copas de la Reina, a Spanish Super Cup and five Copas Catalunya.
