The second half of the season began in winning style for the futsal team who came away from Peníscola with smiles on their faces despite none of Dídac, Lozano, Adolfo, Aicardo or Ferrao being available for the fixture. The blaugrana have traditionally found the going tough at this arena, having lost on their last two visits, and also lost 4-3 at the Palau earlier this season, but a goal from Esquerdinha and two from Marcenio did the trick on this occasion. (x2).
The win vastly improves Barça’s position in the table, and with players coming back from injury, a bright future could await. Next up is Palma on February 6 or 7.
