Barça B's defeat at the Nou Estadi against Nàstic de Tarragona (3-1) came about thanks to three goals from the hosts in the first 22 minutes of the game. Nàstic still top the table, and break Barça's streak of three consecutive victories.
Fast start
The game started in the worst possible way for Barça, with Nàstic taking the lead through F. Carbia in the opening minute (1-0). By the 22nd minute, Carbia (2-0, minute 11) and Brugué (3-0, minute 22) had given the visitors a mountain to climb.
No reward for a reaction
Mika Mármol got Barça B back into the game (3-1, minute 26), whilst Jandro, with a stunning free-kick against the crossbar, also went close before the break.
In the second half, the Catalans did their best to add to their solitary strike, but without success. Álvaro Sanz was sent off late on for pushing an opponent who was time wasting. The one positive part of the game was Jaume Jardí's debut, but in truth, Barça B had little else to shout about.
