FC Barcelona launches new training kit featuring the very latest technology
FC Barcelona is launching its new training kit that features the latest generation Vapor Knit technology based on information acquired through motion capture techniques and body scans of professional soccer players. The range, called ‘FC Barcelona Vapor Knit’, will be worn by the Barça men’s and women’s teams in training sessions and pre-match warm-ups.
The new collection is available via the Club’s ecommerce platform and at the Barça Stores in Passeig de Gràcia, La Roca Village and Barcelona Airport Terminal 1, as well as other usual points of sale.
Barça will be the first club to use its technical partner Nike’s latest generation technology in its training kit, the club having been chosen due to its unique style of play and leading training methodology, elements that make the institution so different to any others in the world.

A new 100% technologically developed kit
Innovation has been key in the creation of the new FC Barcelona Vapor Knit. The equipment´s development is based on information acquired through motion capture techniques and body scanners of professional soccer players, among others. With the data obtained and thanks to computational algorithms, a global design inspired by the contour of the human body has been generated.
The combination of digital technologies and human anatomy offers a new and more daring aesthetic, with a fabric that presents variations throughout the body and takes special care of the performance areas where the athlete needs it most. The zones created through the contouring guide the placement of stretch and breathability, allowing the performance of the garment to blend with the athletes and help them obtain a better result while training: thermoregulation to practice without distractions and flexibility to reach the maximum level of speed and mobility.
