Despite not having been able to finish the year with a win, one positive to take from the draw against Eibar (1-1) was the return of Dembélé, who came on as a second-half sub. The Barcelona winger was injured on December 5 at Cádiz, suffering an elongation in the hamstrings of his right thigh.
After missing five games in December, the Frenchman replaced Sergiño Dest at half-time on Tuesday. He was very involved in Barça's attacking play, and on 67 minutes found himself in the right place to connect to Junior Firpo's cross and bring the scores level.
One goal every 124 minutes
Despite his injuries, in the 13 games that he's played in 2020/21, Dembélé has scored five goals (three in the Champions League and two in the league) and has provided two assists. He averages one goal every 124 minutes, only surpassed by Ansu Fati (one goal every 119 minutes). He's also the second top scorer in the squad with five goals, the same as Griezmann, Ansu Fati and Braithwaite, who are all only surpassed by Leo Messi (10 goals).
Since his arrival in the summer of 2017, the Frenchman has scored 24 goals and provided 17 assists in 87 games. In 2017/18 he scored 4 goals, 2018/19 was his best campaign with 14 goals and in 2019/20 he only scored one due to injuries.
