Barça coach Ronald Koeman was straight to the point on Tuesday in his press conference ahead of Wednesday's game in La Liga against Real Sociedad at Camp Nou. “We have to have more confidence in ourselves and have the ball to create danger and goalscoring opportunities," said the blaugrana boss in a game he sees as 'an open duel between two sides who want to have the ball."
Carrying on discussing the club from San Sebastián in Spain's Basque Country, the Dutchman praised the work of his Real Madrid counterpart, Imanol Alguacil. "Real Sociedad's success is in large part down to the coach's system. They have players who without the ball are excellent. They take risks playing from the back but we have things that can make it difficult for them."
Koeman also touched on Barça's form so far in the domestic league: "In general we can't be happy with some of the results we have had in La Liga. We have lost games we should not have even though in the last game the attitude and performance was very good."
