An evening with little good news for Barça with the exception of the return to action of Samuel Umtiti after 164 days out through injury.
The French centre back, out injured with a knee problem since 27 June when he made his last appearance in a Barça shirt in a 2-2 draw against Celta in Vigo, came on in the second half of the game against Juventus to replace his countryman Clément Lenglet who was making his 100th appearance as a Barça player.
Another player who returned through injury was Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo. The centre back featured for the first time since picking up an injury in the game against Juventus in Turin on 30 October. Araujo played 81 minutes before being replaced by Òscar Mingueza.
