Ansu Fati has inscribed his name into the El Clásico history books after scoring the first goal for Barça in the match played this Saturday at the Camp Nou. That's because his strike was the 400th against Real Madrid, and means he joins an exclusive list made up of César Rodríguez, Bernd Schuster and Luis Enrique Martínez, scorers of goals number 100, 200 and 300, respectively.
The first Barça scorer in El Clásico was the German, Udo Steinberg, on May 13, 1902. It took 50 years for César Rodríguez to score the 100th goal on March 2, 1952. Another 38 years went by before Bernd Schuster scored number 200 (November 30, 1980).
Since then, it's taken Barça 20 years to score 100 goals against Madrid. Luis Enrique scored No.300 on October 21, 2000 and now Ansu Fati has the 400th exactly two decades and three days later.
